Hastelloy round bar description
Hastelloy is a kind of nickel - based corrosion - resistant alloy, mainly divided into nickel - chromium alloy and nickel - chromium molybdenum alloy two categories. Hastelloy alloy has good corrosion resistance and thermal stability, and is widely used in aviation and chemical fields.
Hastelloy C-276 advantage
Hastelloy C-276, also known as Hastelloy C-276, is a nickel-based high temperature alloy consisting of nickel, molybdenum, cobalt and tungsten, with a nickel content of approximately 55%. It is an all-purpose nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with better overall corrosion resistance than other available nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys. The alloy has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, and it has excellent resistance to aqueous media, including wet chloride, nitric acid or a mixture of oxidizing acids containing chloride ions.
Hastelloy C-276's higher nickel content of 55% and molybdenum content of 15% determine its excellent corrosion resistance, which cannot be replaced by other materials, but also increases the difficulty of processing the material. If the environmental pressure of your trial is not large, we suggest you try to use welded pipe. Seamless tube steel pipe perforated with molybdenum top is a molybdenum alloy, C-276 higher molybdenum content determines that it can not be directly perforated (perforation is easy to crack), foreign usually C-276 steel pipe is also used instead of welded pipe.
