50Mn High Elastic Carbon Structural Steel Plate
50Mn has high strength, elasticity, and hardness, and is mostly used after quenching and tempering, resulting in poor welding performance. 50Mn round steel is used for manufacturing heat-treated parts with high wear resistance requirements under high loads, such as gears, gear shafts, and mandrels with a cross-section below 80mm. The performance is similar to that of No. 50 steel, but its hardenability is relatively high. After heat treatment, the strength, hardness, and elasticity are slightly higher than those of No. 50 steel. Poor weldability, overheating sensitivity and temper brittleness tendency. Used as stress bearing parts, high wear parts, and high stress parts, such as mandrels with a diameter less than 80 millimeters. After high-frequency quenching, it can also be used to manufacture train shafts, worms, connecting rods, and automotive crankshafts, such as gears, gear shafts, friction discs, mandrels, flat springs, etc.
