1、309 stainless steel rod has a higher corrosion resistance and strength compared to 304 stainless steel. This product is versatile and known for its high heat treatment capabilities.
2、Corrosion Resistance:309 stainless steel rod stands-up excellently in a range of atmospheric environments even when exposed to corrosive elements.
3、Heat Resistance: Can be hot worked at 1177⁰C and then can be quenched rapidly.
4、Easy to weld by using fusion or resistance welding methods (preferably not oxyacetylene though).
5、Can be headed, upset, drawn, and stamped even though it has high work hardening rate
